We specialize in kettlebells and power lifting, and also use olympic lifting, body weight skills, TRX Suspension training, and resistance training to take your training and strength to the next level. Our studio is simple and welcoming, but don't let that fool you. The kettlebells bring out its true mission...get clients ripped!!! Our methods give you the resources you need to get in shape and stay in shape! We use training approaches that are non-invasive to the body, yet allow you to reach superior results in overall physical and mental fitness.

Meet Coach Lovie

Founder & Head Coach
My mission is to inspire, motivate and teach others about healthy lifestyles. My true passion is helping people reach their lifelong fitness goals in a realistic and fun way. I believe my most important qualifications are the ability to listen to my clients, empathize with their unique challenges, and to offer structure, as well as motivation, in taking on those challenges. It is my proven ability to inspire and create permanent lifestyle change that has already helped client upon client. I accomplish this through a holistic inside out approach that allows my clients to dig deep within themselves and discover their true inner fire.
Lovie always had a passion for fitness…from gymnastics to cheerleading, softball, and track and field. Staying on the cutting edge, she was introduced to kettlebells before they became popular, as they are today, but her busy schedule kept her away from faithfully using them on a consistent basis. After being involved in a horrible car accident (hit by an uninsured motorist) in March 2012, she had to go through physical therapy, and her insurance soon ran out. She needed a way to “rehab” herself to complete her recovery. Her love of kettlebells was a blessing in disguise...or not! "Kettlebell Kickboxing literally brought my body back to life with the different motions and routines of kettlebells mixed with martial arts! My body began to transform, during the first two months I lost almost 40 pounds, AND I regained and surpassed my “pre-accident” strength and balance! It was a no brainer for me. I wanted to be able to bring that same feeling of empowerment to others who were interested in transforming their bodies in a super exciting way with proven methods. I studied and studied, trained and trained and attended the training to become a Certified KBKB Instructor.”
Lovie is the ONLY Certified Kettlebell Kickboxing™ Instructor (KBIA) in the DMV (DC, MD and VA) area, trained directly under Dasha Libin Anderson, MS, NASM-PES, MKC, NASE, M-KBIA. She has also earned her Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Certified USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach (USAW), Certified TRX Suspension Trainer, and Certified Boxing Fitness Trainer certifications.
Lovie has been coaching small group classes and private sessions, helping others transform their bodies. When you’re in her class, she’ll motivate you to “pop those hips” while she’s telling you, “You can do anything for 60 seconds!”
